What’s your connective tissue?

It’s the flexible scaffolding for every aspect of your body, from your bones to your skin. Made up of collagen, elastic fibers, and fluid, it’s the most abundant tissue in the body and yet we hardly hear anything about it in the fitness world, or even in the medical world.

What does connective tissue do for the body?

How can you keep your connective tissue happy and healthy?

You hydrate it.

Connective tissue is 80% water, just like the rest of your body. It depends on adequate fluid intake to be able to adapt to the constantly changing needs of your internal environment. Whether you are reaching for a pencil, running a marathon, or just digesting your lunch, your connective tissue is working for you to protect your spine, vital organs, and the delicate balance of all the structural, neurological, chemical, and hormonal systems of your body.

Can’t you just drink more water to keep your connective tissue healthy?

No. While drinking more water will help, if you are already dehydrated on a cellular level, drinking more water is not enough. It’s like pouring a cup of water on a dried-out sponge. It’s doesn’t get absorbed.

Is MELT like body rolling or “Myo-fascial release”?

I PROVIDE ongoing support in a variety of environments (weekly emails, phone calls, and in-person workshops) to answer all your questions, address your changing needs, and help move you through blocks to create long lasting results.

What YOU DO FOR YOU:

YOU ATTEND ONE THREE HOUR KICK-OFF WORKSHOP, to begin your transformation with the hands, feet, and spine.

YOU ATTEND EIGHT weekly in-person workshops covering a broad range of “MELT Moves” including: Neck, Low Back, Hips, Knees, Feet, Hands, Shoulders and of course, your Core.

YOU CALL IN from home for EIGHT weekly 45-minute conference calls, ready to MELT for the first 40 minutes, and then prepared to listen or ask any questions to get deeper support for the last 5 minutes of Q&A. All calls will be recorded and downloadable for future use.

YOU DISCUSS your condition and medical history with me on the phone for 20 minutes before the program begins, so we can create realistic, clear goals for your transformation.

YOU CHECK IN once a week via email to track your progress and let me know how you are doing.

YOU PRACTICE AT HOME for a minimum of 1 hour a week and complete your weekly homework.  Improvement comes with consistency, and I will hold you accountable to a regular schedule of MELTing for the greatest benefits.

YOU TRANSFORM day by day, week by week, month by month, and feel motivated to continue your own personal MELT transformation on a regular basis, long after the program has ended.
